The Government Property Division is presently removing squatters from the Ghajn Tuffieha barracks after issuing letters earlier this week.

Officials of the division are being escorted by a number of policemen.

This exercise continues in the wave of similar actions conducted against caravan owners in Bahar ic-Caghaq and against the owners of a number of catering establishments who were breaching encroachment permit conditions.

On Tuesday, the division issued letters of warning to owners of restaurants and bars in Valletta.
