Malta ready to host the 2010 Eurovision final, says Chiara
During an interview with German-based Eurovisionlive.com, Chiara confirmed that Malta is more than ready to host the contest.
3minutes.com website reports that Malta has been waiting for this event to happen for so long. When Chiara was asked on the readiness of Malta to host the event should she win the contest this year, Chiara remarked: “We can handle it, believe me. We’ve been ready to do this contest sooo many years! We’re ready to host it”, reassured Chiara, while adding “… and if we win I will demand to host the show”.
Few minutes earlier, she confirmed the news to Oikotimes.com adding that if Eurovision comes to Malta, the island will go on a 15-day long festive season with great parties thrown all over the place. It will be a great feast of music, colours and friendship in a typical Mediterranean ‘Festa’ atmosphere.
Television cameras from Russian channel MKRU, Ukranian Euromedia company working for Bulgarian national TV station and Russian leading Music Channel, MY3 were all pointed in Chiara’s direction during the official opening of Euroclub, last night. An extensive interview will be aired in Greece too.
The Maltese entry will take the stage for the second time this Friday, in the meantime the Maltese Ballad Queen is kept busy with interviews from various Russian and other European journalists and Eurovision press.
