Alleged abuses at VAT Department to be investigated

The Ministry of Finance, Economy and Investment said in a statement that it has requested the Police Commissioner to investigate alleged abuses at the VAT Department.
The ministry said that the Government does not tolerate any abuse and therefore every allegation should be investigated and necessary action ought to be taken according to law.
