Young woman in critical condition after car crash

A 19-year-old woman from Ghaxaq is in danger of losing her life following a head-on car crash on Tal-Barrani Road, Zejtun, Thursday night.
According to a police report, the incident took place at 2230CEST when an Isuzu driven by a 39-year-old man from Marsa crashed in Maruti driven by a 45-year-old woman from Senglea that was coming from the opposite direction.
The woman from Ghaxaq was a passenger in the Maruti together with a 53-year-old man from Senglea. Both the Maruti driver and the man from Senglea were seriously hurt.
Magistrate Michael Mallia is leading an inquiry.
