Two Maltese oil workers were among the survivors of a helicopter crash in the North Sea, Scotland on Wednesday, Timesofmalta.com reports.
The two Maltese survivors, as reported by the Timesofmalta.com, were Richard Gauci and Keith Spiteri.
The Super Puma helicopter had been carrying 18 people when it crashed.
The helicopter crashed just before it reached the platform about 200 kilometres east of Aberdeen.
James Lyne, a spokesman for the RAF base at Kinloss on the northeastern Scottish coast said that “they all managed to get out safely.”
