Five arrested in huge EU operation against organised crime

The police have reported that five people were arrested in Malta as law enforcement officers from 34 countries, including Malt, took part in the largest ever coordinated operation against organised crime in the EU. Europol said 1,027 individuals were arrested. The five arrested in Malta were arrested in connection with drug trafficking, illegal migration and theft.
