Qormi’s annual wine festival is back for the ninth consecutive year, bringing to the fore a wide selection of red, white and rose’ wines produced by local producers Marsovin, traditional Maltese food, numerous exhibitions and competitions and entertainment throughout the night on Friday 30th August and Saturday 31st August, from 8pm to midnight.

Local artists, bands, groups, and Folk groups will also be performing on separate stages along the festival area during the two nights.

On Friday Mro. Mark Spiteri Lucas & band with the participation of renowned local singers such as Chiara, J.Anvil, Tiziana and Neville Refalo will be performing on stage singing copious songs to entertain the public. Rebecca Bonnici will be singing unplugged during the two nights and with her splendid voice she’ll be opening the festival on Friday and on Saturday. In the well-known so called Chill Out Area, the Maltese group ‘Maltin Biss’ will be singing and amusing those visiting the area with Maltese popular songs.

On Saturday 31st August, the popular group Fakawi, will be on the main stage. In the meanwhile, DJ Ruby, will chill out the crowd in the Chill Out Area. A folkloristic group ‘Tal-Fuklar Folk Group’ will dance the night away with tradition Maltese dances next to St. Georges Parish Church.
Exclusivity for this Qormi Wine Festival edition will be the presence of the unique signature artist Frank O’Neill. He transformed more than 50,000 signatures including Steven Spielberg’s, Russel Crowe’s and most Maltese personalities’ into a work of art. This time, it could be your turn, so do not lack to visit this main attraction at the Qormi Wine Festival.
Entrance to the wine festival is free of charge and parking will be freely reserved in the vicinity.
