A record €1,351,921 was raised in the three-day Puttinu football and volleyball marathon which concluded on Sunday.

The funds will be used by the Puttinu Foundation to pay for and maintain apartments it has set up in Sutton, London, to help patients needing treatment in the UK, and their relatives.
