Three men, a 25-year-old man from Valletta, a 29-year-old and a 47-year-old both from Cospicua and a 29-year-old woman from Marsa were arrested after they were found in possession of heroin in a raid in Marsa on Sunday morning.

A Drugs Squad police officer was also injured during the raid; the policeman approached the driver of a car, who drove off dragging the officer with him, slightly injuring him in the process.

The 25-year-old will now be charged with heroin trafficking and slightly injuring a police officer. The others will be charged with heroin possession and abuse.
