Air Malta has announced that there will be a change of check-in closure times for flights departing from a number of airports which the airline operates from. This change will come into effect as from Tuesday, 1st November 2011.

Passengers are kindly advised to note that the airline’s check-in counters at London Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and Rome Fiumicino Airports will close 45 minutes prior the scheduled time of departure. Check-in counters at Tel Aviv Airport close 60 minutes prior the scheduled time of departure. These new timings apply for both club and economy class passengers.

Passengers travelling from London Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester Airports and carrying hand luggage only may check-in up to 30 minutes prior the scheduled time of departure.

Air Malta check-in counters at all other airports including Malta International Airport will close 30 minutes prior the scheduled time of departure.

Air Malta reminds its passengers that its check-in counters at all airports open at least 2 hours before the schedule time of departure. The airline urges its passengers to be on time in order to avoid any unnecessary delays.
