On Friday afternoon a foreign-owned car, caused trouble in Valetta as it drove into dining tables at Merchants Street and hit and injured a woman. After which it collided with another car in Marsa and then crashed down a reservoir near the Addolorata Cemetery.

The incidents happened at around 18:00hrs CEST.

The injured woman was also hospitalised where she is being treated for her injuries.

The car then fell into the reservoir near the Addolorata Cemetery; the man was pulled out from the driver seat as the vehicle caught fire. The driver was then rushed to Mater Dei hospital, his condition is not yet known.
