Call for artist for open air market at Notte Bianca issued

As part of the 6th edition of Notte Bianca the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts (MCCA) wishes to set up an ‘open air art market’ where a variety of art and craft works by local artists will be set up.

This market will provide a dedicated space that brings together all types of art forms and crafts, to create a one-of-a-kind open air shopping experience for visitors and locals alike. The market can feature a variety of works including paintings, photography, sculpture, pottery, jewellery, and much more.

If you would like to show off your artistic and craft products on this night, the MCCA is inviting all artists and craftsperson who would like to set up in the ‘open air art market’ to forward their expression of interest.

The ‘open air art market’ will be set up in a specific outdoor location in Valletta and will operate on Saturday 1st October 2011 from 17:00hrs to approximately 03:00hrs. Interested parties are to send an expression of interest by not later than 1st September 2011 to info@nottebiancamalta.com or by post or by hand to 230, Republic Street, Valletta. Further information may be obtained from the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts office between 9.00hrs and 13.00hrs.
