Liquigas Malta Limited have announced a marked increase in its gas prices for May while Easygas Malta maintained the same prices from April.

Internationally, the price of LPG has continued to increase in the last few months and remains at high levels due to the instability in the Mediterranean region. These current prices are at their highest on the international market for the last five years.

Furthermore, the expected reduction in the cost of gas that normally happens after the winter season did not occur this year since the suppliers of LPG on the international market have retained prices high in line with petroleum trends.

The above are final prices as approved by the Malta Resources Authority and are the Liquigas maximum prices of LPG/propane on the Maltese market. Distributors of Liquigas cylinders are not authorised to charge additional prices over and above the above prices.
