Four injured in two car crashes

A 33 year-old woman and two boys were injured Thursay morning at 1000CEST when their Mazda 323 car crashed into a wall in Marsascala Road, Zabbar.
The woman’s injuries are serious. The boys, aged 14 and two, were also taken to hospital for treatment.
In a separate accident, a 59-year-old woman from Zebbug was injured early Thursday afternoon when her Renault Megane car crashed into a double-decker sightseeing bus on the road between Zebbug and Siggiewi.
The woman was rescued from the car by cutting equipment and was taken to hospital.
A two year-old boy who was in the car and a tourist on the bus were also hospitalised. They were not seriously hurt.
