As part of its 2010 fast-start climate finance pledge, the Government of Malta donated €125,000 to the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves an initiative led by the United Nations Foundation. The Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves is a public-private partnership, which aims at replacing traditional cookstoves with modern and clean cookstoves in developing countries.
