Following the recent success of the Oriflame Gold Conference – the largest conference ever to be held in Malta – On Site Malta, the local company that organised the event, embarked on a new initiative, as part of its efforts towards Corporate Social Responsibility.

Every year, On Site Malta plans to donate €1.00 to charity for every delegate participating in a Conference or Incentive being organised through the company.

“The charity of choice for this year is the Malta Community Chest Fund, as we think it is one of the finest examples of charity organisations that consciously help so many people and other organisations in need, all throughout the year”, said Paul Selis, director of On Site Malta.

He remarked that, “The size and magnitude of the Oriflame Gold Conference hasn generated a considerable amount of work from different areas and industries in the Maltese Islands – naturally we couldn’t have a better platform from where to launch this new initiative. This year also coincides with the 10th year anniversary of On Site Malta, so we had all the reasons to make it a year to remember.”

To commemorate the start of this yearly initiative, Paul Selis and the whole team at On Site Malta met His Excellency, the President of Malta, Dr. George Abela. Together they presented him with a cheque of €5,000, which is the rounded figure of delegates that participated in the Oriflame Gold Conference in the Summer of 2010.
