MIA to hold Aircraft Emergency Exercise
The Malta International Airport (MIA) will hold a full scale Aircraft Emergency Exercises on Wednesday 24th of November.
The exercise is being organised by MIA in collaboration with other entities.
MIA said that this is an exercise on a national scale and therefore the public should not be alarmed with any unusual movements of a number of emergency vehicles, including ambulances, civil protection and police vehicles.
Various organisations will contribute to the exercise, which will assess the level of preparedness of all entities involved, and reflects MIA’s commitment to safety and security.
The Exercise is being held according to strict standards stipulated by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).
Malta International Airport plc would like to request the general public to collaborate during this event by not hindering emergency vehicles or in any way, obstruct the roads in the vicinity of MIA.
