France Air traffic strike affects Air Malta
An air traffic control strike in France, on Thursday, will negatively affect Air Malta flights KM466/7 Malta to Paris Orly to Malta, KM478/9 and Malta to Paris Charles De Gaulle to Malta.
In a release Air Malta said that flights KM416/7 Malta to Toulouse, Lyon to Malta and KM436/7 Malta to Marseille to Malta will operate as scheduled.
The French Aviation Authority requested all airlines to reduce air traffic into Paris. Air Malta was only granted the entry of flight KM478/9 to Paris Charles De Gaulle, Air Malta said in a statement.
Passengers booked on flight KM466 Malta to Paris Orly were offered to travel on flight KM478 Malta to Paris Charles De Gaulle instead.
The flight will leave from The Malta International Airport at 14:15hrs CEST it is then expected to depart Paris Charles De Gaulle at 18:00hrs CEST.
Air Malta apologise to its passengers for any inconvenience which was beyond its control. Clients due to travel on the said flights to contact flight enquiries at Malta International Airport on 5004 3333 or the call centre on 2166 2211 for further information on arrival/departure times.
