External celebrations of the feast of the Assumption in Mosta was cancelled in solidarity with the family of Mario Dimech who was confirmed dead in the Mosta fireworks factory explosion.

Fifteen minutes of fireworks were let off at Mosta on Sunday evening so as to dispose of fireworks which had already been laid out for firing .The cortege and funeral of Mario Dimech will be held on Tuesday.
