Norman Darmanin Demajo was elected president of the Malta Football Association. He defeated the incumbent Joe Mifsud 77-31 in a secret ballot held during the association’s annual general meeting on Saturday.

He said that the delagates had understood his message and insisted that this was a vote in favour of Maltese football and the beginning of a new era.
