A foreign man was critically injured in a car accident on Friday morning in Salina Road in Naxxar.

The police reported that the accident occurred at around 10:30 CEST when a Ford Transit van driven by a 46-year-old man from St Paul’s Bay was involved in an accident with a Daewoo Cielo car being driven in the opposite direction by a foreigner.

The driver of the Daewoo car was rushed to hospital in an ambulance where he was certified to be seriously injured and in danger of dying.
