A 24 year old man, from Naxxar, has been left fighting for his life when early Monday morning a Fiat Punto lost control and crashed into a tree in Triq – Salina, Naxxar.

The car was being driven by a 23 year old woman from haz- Zabbug. She was also injured but her conditions are not life threatening.

Due to the accident, the same road, leading to the Maghtab, has been temporarily closed.

Magistrate Dr. Anthony Vella ordered an inquiry.
