On Saturday evening, around €2,000 were stolen from a clothes shop in Hamrun during a hold-up.

The police reported that the hold-up took place at around 19:00 CET in a clothes shop in Dun Nerik Cordina Perez Street in Hamrun.

A hooded and armed man entered the shop and demanded money from the employees. There were also some customers in the shop but no one got injured.
