On Friday, Governor-General of Australia, Quentin Bryce started an official visit to Malta.

She was formally welcomed at St George’s Square in Valletta and then called on President Edward Fenech Adami.

The Governor General will be meeting Opposition leader Dr Joseph Muscat and Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi.

The official visit ends on Saturday afternoon.
