Local music was at the forefront in this year’s Bay Music Awards. Christabel won the Best Single Award with her song Every time I weep. She also voted Best Solo Artist for the second consecutive year.

The Best Band Award was won by Airport Impressions while Ira Losco and DJ Ruby, who teamed up together, won the Best Dance Tune Award.
