A 58-year-old man died while swimming at Ramla Bay in Gozo at around 12:30 CEST on Saturday.

The polic said that the man found himself in difficulty while swimming. Another person called for help and an ambulance arrived soon after. However, the man was certified dead. The man was a Maltese on holiday in Gozo.
