Table Tennis academy launches new ranking system
The Table Tennis Academy has just launched a new five star ranking system that has been adopted for better streaming of players and comes in line with the International club level competition grading. The five star players now stand out as the crème de la crème of the organization, and have been exposed to the highest level of competition and have gone so far as beating some of Malta’s best quoted players.
The Academy at the moment is once again a busy hive of activity as players settle down to their regular coaching sessions on weekly or more frequent intervals according to aptitude and personal requirements of the individual player.
The Academy at the moment is aiming high as the Academy board is seeking to bring over one of the best Swedish coaches for the Christmas period for a three week period.
The first ranking tournament of the season will be held on Saturday 1st November 2008 at the Academy premises. This will also serve as an open day for new students that can watch what happens at the Table Tennis Academy and also used as a consultancy day with coaches for getting to know more about this great opportunity for training under a Swedish trainer and also free equipment advice. A selection of days and times are available for players of all levels, be they beginners or seasoned players which is based at the Civil Service Sports Club in Valletta right opposite the entrance to the parliament buildings.
Further details can be obtained by accessing the website www.tabletennisacademy.com or contacting the head coaches on 79591799 or 99470278
