The number of confirmed swine flu cases in Malta and Gozo has reached 75 of whom 38 are males and 37 females, the health authorities said. This figure reflects known cases as at 14:00CEST on Saturday.
Six cases were confirmed since Friday’s update - two in Malta and four in Gozo.
Four more persons are no longer in quarantine which brings a total of eighteen persons who have been cured while the rest, 57 are receiving treatment. None of the people who have contracted the virus are currently hospitalized. Those diagnosed are responding to treatment.
